The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target.
Jones bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ferone moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ferone lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Jones is working for a guillotine from mount but Ferone frees his head quite easily.

Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Ferone moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Ferone lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A combination from Ferone does no damage.
Jones gets cracked there but stands up to it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ferone fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jones looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Jones tries to keep at a distance but Ferone has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jones has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ferone is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Ferone breaks the clinch.
Ferone buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ferone catches Jones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Ferone drops Jones with a straight right hand, right on the button! Ferone follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
