Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, LaVern Shirley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Demon Beast!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shirley dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Beast throws a jab but it's blocked by Shirley.
Some wild striking there from Shirley.
Some bone on bone action there as Shirley checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Beast stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Beast wants it to stay on the feet.
Shirley cracks the inside of Beast's front leg.
Beast fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shirley manages to avoid it.
Beast misses the shot to the body.
Shirley thuds his right hand into Beast's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Shirley lands with an uppercut that bounces Beast off the cage and back into rage.

Beast throws a big shot that misses.

Demon Beast is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Beast throws out a loose jab but Shirley uses good head movement to avoid it.

Shirley wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Shirley jumps guard but Beast stands there with Shirley around his waist. Shirley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to LaVern Shirley.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shirley, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
