Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Teppi Tarinashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarinashi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hood finds it's way round the side to connect with Tarinashi's head.
An inside leg kick lands from Tarinashi.

The fight stays on the outside here - Hood looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hood tries to close the distance and clinch but Tarinashi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hood tries to lock up and control but Tarinashi gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Tarinashi works to advance to full mount. Hood defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Tarinashi is breathing heavily.
Hood regains half guard.
Hood misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Hood keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Hood not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tarinashi avoids the body shot from Hood.

Hood connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tarinashi. Tarinashi circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Hood drives through and clinches with Tarinashi against the cage.

Teppi Tarinashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tarinashi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hood swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tarinashi doesn't manage to clinch there - Hood circles away.
Tarinashi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hood.
Tarinashi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A clash of legs there as Hood blocks the low kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Tarinashi.

Hood scores with a jab. Tarinashi acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Hood closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Tarinashi is rocked!
Hood lands a big head kick that sends Tarinashi to the canvas! Hood follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
