The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braun closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dillan circles away.
Dillan stuffs the takedown attempt from Braun. Braun gets slowly back to his feet.
Max Dillan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dillan tests Braun's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Dillan throws a right hand that Braun ducks under and follows up with a left that Braun also avoids with ease.

Dillan clinches up with Braun and pushes him back against the cage.
Braun tries to pull guard but Dillan holds him up against the cage and eventually Braun drops back down to his feet.

Dillan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Dillan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Braun manages to avoid it.

Braun shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dillan but Dillan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Braun shoots in looking for a takedown. Dillan tries to sprawl out of it but Braun keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dillan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Braun jumps guard but Dillan stands there with Braun around his waist. Braun gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Dillan has hold of one of Braun's legs. Braun is fighting the takedown attempt but Dillan gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dillan stands and steps away. Braun gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
