The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swagger is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Swagger throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Face escapes and throws Swagger's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
and Face counters with a shoot takedown. Swagger fights it but they end up in guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Swagger wants to control but Face is having none of it.
Face won't let Swagger get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Fukc Face showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Face keeps Swagger at a distance using the push kick.
Swagger tries to clinch but Face moves away

and Face counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Swagger lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Face!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Swagger goes for an armbar but Face turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Face.

Face is taking a breather. Swagger says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Well Face has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
