Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gengis Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tyson Fury!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gengis Khan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Khan stuffs the takedown attempt from Fury. Fury gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Fury. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice sprawl there from Khan as Fury shoots in.
Khan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fury.

Khan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Khan lands in his opponent's guard.

Fury working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Khan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Khan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Khan can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fury wants to control but Khan has made it back to half guard. Nice work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Khan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fury's guard now.
Khan postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Fury throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Khan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Fury with a lazy takedown attempt

and Khan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Fury!
Khan unloads with some shots from mount but Fury bucks and avoids them well.

Fury is bucking up trying to escape but Khan cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Gengis Khan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Khan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fury's head.

Khan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fury has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Khan has managed to get both his arms back between Fury's legs - danger averted.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Khan throws and elbow that misses. Fury uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Khan's guard. Nice move by Fury!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fury drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Khan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fury has Khan in his guard.
Fury is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gengis Khan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Khan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Gengis Khan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Khan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
