Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shiro Sage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Rodgers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodgers fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rodgers fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Rodgers shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rodgers showed some decent athleticism there.
Rodgers stops Sage from getting back to his feet.
Rodgers missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Rodgers thows a huge punch but Sage dodges it nicely.
Rodgers throwing shots but Sage is blocking nicely.

Sage kicks Rodgers off and gets back to his feet.
Sage tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rodgers paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sage stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sage wants it to stay on the feet.
Shiro Sage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Rodgers.
Crunch! Sage slams his shin into Rodgers's torso.
Rodgers looks gassed!

Sage closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sage lands in his opponent's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sage gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Sage pushes Rodgers away with a front kick.
Sage lands a high kick!
Sage doesn't manage to clinch there - Rodgers circles away.
Sage misses with a few strikes there.
Rodgers shoots and misses
and Sage counters with a massive head kick! KABOOM! Rodgers is out cold! A devastating KO!
