Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Allie Marcus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hash Ishe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcus comes to the ring accompanied by Creeping Death - Metallica. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Allie Marcus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hash Ishe!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marcus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ishe looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Ishe can't do much from the bottom here.
Ishe is trying to buck Marcus off.

Marcus is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ishe is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Marcus tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Marcus has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
You can see the frustration on Ishe's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Ishe manages to work his way to half guard, despite Marcus's best efforts.
Ishe wants to get back to full guard.
Ishe is trying to maintain the position but Marcus is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Marcus is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Ishe wants to control but Marcus is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Ishe tries to get to full guard but Marcus has control of the leg.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ishe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Marcus swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ishe looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Ishe feints and as Marcus raises his hands in defense, Ishe changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Marcus controls Ishe momentarily but Ishe frees himself.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ishe.
Nice takedown defense from Marcus. No joy for Ishe on that attempt.
Marcus walks into a jab.

Marcus fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ishe sprawls well initially but Marcus persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Marcus is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ishe is just riding it out for now. Marcus eventually gives up the hold.
Ishe is looking to control Marcus's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ishe avoid being mounted?

Marcus is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Marcus is trying to control. Ishe wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Ishe makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ishe.
Ishe wants to stand and escape but Marcus is having none of it.
Marcus wants to pass the guard but Ishe is keeping the position.

Marcus shoots in for a double leg but Ishe sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Marcus has clasped his hands together around Ishe's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Ishe has his foot on Marcus's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Marcus works his way back into a safe position though.

Marcus wants to stand up but Ishe has a hold of him and won't allow it.

That was a close round but I would say that Allie Marcus will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Ishe will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Marcus drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Marcus jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Marcus is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ishe is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ishe has escaped and now he's on top!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Ishe counters with a nice double leg into side control. Marcus won't be happy with that.
Ishe postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Hash Ishe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!



Ishe shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Marcus's guard.

Ishe has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Marcus is proving hard to escape from.
Marcus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ishe is one step ahead there.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Marcus.

and Marcus counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Marcus.

Marcus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ishe tries to score a power double leg takedown but Marcus sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ishe somewhat.
Allie Marcus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hash Ishe.

Marcus moves into range and clinches up with Ishe.

And that's the end of the fight!
Hash Ishe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Ishe has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
