The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagat misses with a wild body shot.
Saatana shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sagat as he avoids it easily.
Sagat wants to clinch up but Saatana keeps it at a distance.
Sagat throws a series of punches but Saatana avoids them all with ease.

Sagat is looking to regain half guard here but Saatana keeps moving and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Sagat's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
