Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raf Gon DIas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gon DIas pinned against the cage. Gon DIas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gon DIas gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Alves to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gon DIas walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Alves will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Well Alves has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
