Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kent scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Kent takes a little break here. Silver wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Silver has one of Kent's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

Kent working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kent lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Silver is wriggling around trying to escape.

Silver bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Kent is controlling Silver's posture.

Silver drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silver jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Silver passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.

Kent has one foot on Silver's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Kent tries to clinch up.

Silver pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kent is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Silver lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Silver blocks a head kick by Kent.

Silver bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kent is trying to get back to his feet.
Silver moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Silver decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Silver is breathing heavily.
Kent doesn't manage to clinch there - Silver circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clark Kent dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Silver tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kent swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silver throws a head kick but Kent moves out of range.

Silver drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kent keeping full guard, as Silver tries to pass.
Kent looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Kent has his feet on Silver's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

and Kent counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Silver wants to sweep but no luck.
Kent passes into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Silver on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kent connects with a nice short shot to Silver's temple.
Kent wants to advance to full mount but Silver doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kent controls from within his opponent's guard.
Silver might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kent postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kent controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Silver wants to stand up but Kent is controlling him.

Silver wants to control but Kent is keeping busy.
Silver throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Kent decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clark Kent showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


The fight stays on the outside here - Kent looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Silver looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kent is trying to control but Silver manages to pass to mount!
Silver throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kent because Silver loaded up on that one.
Silver can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kent is looking to escape.
Kent regains half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Silver seems to be looking for submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kent is holding on to half guard well.
Kent gets back to full guard.
Kent is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kent is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Silver frees his head nicely. Oh but Kent has switched to an armbar! Silver is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
