Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Astro Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Komatsu Akiaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akiaki has chosen Enter the Dragon as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Komatsu Akiaki!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akiaki throws a low kick but Boy avoids it.
Boy fails with a takedown attempt.
Komatsu Akiaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Boy.

Akiaki gets caught flat footed, as Boy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Boy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Boy wants to control from the top but Akiaki keeps moving.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Boy postures up in Akiaki's guard and throws a big left but Akiaki blocks it.

Akiaki has his foot on Boy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Boy works his way back into a safe position though.
Boy is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Akiaki has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Boy should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Akiaki has tightened it up now! Boy should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
