Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nino Cabreros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nino Cabreros!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Knight!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabreros misses with a body kick.

Knight throws a nice head kick!
Cabreros looks to score with a jab to the body but Knight is just out of range.
Knight lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Knight lands a nice looking body kick.
Cabreros swings for the body but Knight moves out of range.
Cabreros does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Knight is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Cabreros feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Knight wants to get back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
