Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pat Marr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fellacio Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marr kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rock You by Helix. Pat Marr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fellacio Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marr throws a hook but Sanchez blocks it.
Sanchez slips a straight right by Marr.
Sanchez throws a hook to the side of Marr's head but Marr sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Marr drops Sanchez with a nice combination! Marr dives into Sanchez's guard, looking to finish!

It looks like Fellacio Sanchez has been cut.
Marr with a flurry of punches that miss.
Sanchez is still in real trouble! Can Marr finish him?
Marr postures up in Sanchez's guard and throws a big left but Sanchez blocks it.
Sanchez seems to have recovered his senses.

Sanchez tries to lock up and control but Marr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Marr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sanchez wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Marr.

That's time! Marr's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Sanchez jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Sanchez has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sanchez there as he acknowledges the shot.
Sanchez takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Sanchez cracks Marr with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sanchez works over Marr's head and body with a nice combination.
Sanchez uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Marr.

Marr thows a body shot but no joy.
Fellacio Sanchez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sanchez scoring well with a low kick there.
Marr takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Sanchez lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sanchez.

Sanchez connects with a solid leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Marr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sanchez.

Marr checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
A combination from Sanchez does no damage.
Sanchez misses with a hook to the body
and Marr counters with a straight right hand.
Marr throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Marr takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fellacio Sanchez seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Nice straight punches there by Sanchez. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sanchez.
Sanchez will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Marr misses with a takedown attempt - Sanchez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pat Marr. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Marr makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Marr needs to keep his hands up - Sanchez had a free shot at his head there.

Sanchez lunges at Marr with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Marr's hand.

Sanchez ducks under a wild hook from Marr.
Sanchez misses with a series of wild punches.
Sanchez buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Marr gets cracked there but stands up to it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fellacio Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanchez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Oh Marr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sanchez looks to land a combination. Marr sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Sanchez scores with a jab. Marr acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Sanchez uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sanchez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Marr on the side of the head.
Sanchez scores with a nice head shot.
Sanchez connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Sanchez lands with a cross.
A jab from Marr misses.
Sanchez takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Marr will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sanchez scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Marr seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Sanchez shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Marr is backing up but Sanchez catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Marr covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Sanchez Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fellacio Sanchez!
