Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helio James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by This Is War. James has chosen Limp Bizkit Eat You Alive as his entrance music. Helio James acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from James.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Diaz cracks James with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

James stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and James wants it to stay on the feet.
James misses with a hook. Diaz ducked under it nicely.
James might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Diaz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from James.
James throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

That was a close round but I would say that Nick Diaz will probably get the nod.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nick Diaz will probably get the nod.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
