Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Lukens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rex Faces (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Johnny Lukens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rex Faces!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faces just misses with a punch to the body.
Lukens wants to clinch up but Faces keeps it at a distance.
Some wild striking there from Faces.
Faces pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lukens tries to clinch up.

Lukens shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lukens was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Lukens goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Faces turns into him and now he's in Lukens's guard.
Faces stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lukens swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lukens had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Faces defends it easily.

Lukens is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Faces wants to pass the guard but Lukens is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Faces accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Faces makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Lukens looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Lukens is looking for a triangle but Faces pushes his legs off easily.

Lukens working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Faces doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Faces manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Lukens is breathing heavily.

Lukens has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Faces can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lukens looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Faces throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lukens on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Lukens shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Faces connects with a superb combination that knocks Lukens out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Faces before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Lukens!
