Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Sartori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller comes to the cage accompanied by Deftones - Change. Sartori has chosen The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evan Sartori!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sartori misses with a head kick.
Donk. Miller catches Sartori right on the button with a cross.
Nice sprawl there from Miller as Sartori shoots in.

Miller scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Miller is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sartori sees it coming and defends easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miller is taking a breather. Sartori says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Sartori wants to control but Miller is keeping busy.

Miller tries to pass to full mount but Sartori defends it.

Sartori has one foot on Miller's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Miller throws a quick inside leg kick.
Miller blocks a low kick nicely.
Sartori shoots for a takedown but Miller saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sartori tries to clinch but Miller moves out of range.

Miller tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sartori wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Sartori is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Miller is looking to regain half guard here but Sartori keeps moving and retains side control.

Sartori is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Miller knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Sartori tries to stand but Miller controls the position and pulls Sartori into his guard.

Miller is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sartori can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Miller with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Sartori is looking to improve his position but Miller isn't that keen on the idea.
Miller takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Sartori wants to hold on but Miller pushes him away.

and Miller counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Miller will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miller is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sartori has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sartori!
Sartori keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Miller's head.
Miller has a closed guard, preventing Sartori from standing up.

Sartori thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Miller's head.

Sartori decides to stand and escape the position.
Miller connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sartori. Sartori circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Miller swings for the body but Sartori moves out of range.
Sartori tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Miller swivels and escapes.
Michael Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Evan Sartori.

Sartori drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Miller seems to be looking for submissions.
Miller seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sartori does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Sartori pushes Miller off and gets back to his feet.
Sartori misses with a takedown attempt - Miller sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Miller lands a jab to Sartori's midsection.
Miller darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Miller throws a right and a left that both miss.

Sartori shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Miller counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Miller throws a leg kick that misses.
Miller cracks Sartori with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A left lands for Miller.
Sartori slips a jab and a cross from Miller.
Miller lands a body shot.
Sartori takes one to the chin there.
Sartori walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Sartori throws a sloppy head kick and Miller moves out of range easily.

Sartori isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Miller stacks Sartori on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Miller!

Sartori throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Miller has hold of Sartori's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Sartori seems comfortable defending it but Miller has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Sartori is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Sartori is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Miller couldn't care less - he's delighted!
