Michaels's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Alice In Chains - Man In The Box. Beaudrey has chosen Behemoth: Ov Fire And The Void as his entrance music. Dustin Beaudrey will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beaudrey throws a hook but Michaels blocks it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Michaels bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Michaels feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Michaels is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Beaudrey doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Michaels.

Beaudrey is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Michaels comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Michaels shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Beaudrey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Michaels. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Beaudrey is not content to let Michaels control the position.
Michaels works his foot free and advances to mount.

Michaels is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Michaels!
