The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Slice circles away quickly and effectively.
Slice ducks under a wild hook from Lawson.
A big left from Lawson misses.
Slice looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lawson blocks a jab.
Lawson ducks under a wild hook from Slice.
Slice takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Slice scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lawson doesn't seem bothered though.
Lawson looks to score with a jab to the body but Slice is just out of range.
Slice on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Julius Lawson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lawson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lawson wants it to stay on the feet.
Lawson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Slice stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Slice looks gassed!

Lawson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Slice napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Lawson stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Slice loses concentration momentarily and Lawson pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Slice crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Lawson finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
