The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eggs shoots for a double leg takedown but Khalidof sprawls well. He's pushed Eggs's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Eggs circles away from the clinch attempt.
Khalidof gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Eggs.
Eggs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Khalidof is looking to clinch but Eggs is avoiding it.
Eggs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Eggs lands a left and a right that send Khalidof crashing to the mat, dazed. Eggs thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Khalidof moves in looking to clinch but Eggs pushes him off.
Khalidof doesn't manage to clinch there - Eggs circles away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
