The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones wants to clinch.
Fairtex tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fairtex using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jones has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Jones jumps guard and drags Fairtex to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jones holds on and takes a little breather.
Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fairtex's guard.
Fairtex throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Jones as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Fairtex screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Jones! Nice submission victory there!
