Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zack Fair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and nargile el padrino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). el padrino has chosen Chok Dee as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. nargile el padrino is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
el padrino has a takedown stuffed.

Fair is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in el padrino 's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
el padrino tries to get to full guard but Fair has control of the leg.
Fair moves into full mount! el padrino won't be happy about that!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fair misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

el padrino is bucking up trying to escape but Fair cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. el padrino gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. el padrino apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Fair shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Fair was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Fair takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
