Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Manhoef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Cohen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Brian Cohen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cohen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Cohen shoots in looking for a takedown. Manhoef tries to sprawl out of it but Cohen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Manhoef manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cohen tries to clinch up.
Manhoef tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cohen was well out of range. Poor timing from Manhoef.
Manhoef misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cohen.
Manhoef throws a leg kick but Cohen moved away.

Manhoef throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cohen darts in and clinches Manhoef up against the cage.

It looks like Brian Cohen has been cut.

Manhoef lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Cohen takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Manhoef throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Manhoef lands a really nice looking cross but Cohen seems unphased.
Manhoef goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Cohen is holding his hands too far apart here. Manhoef throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Cohen is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
