The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Konkas connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Flash momentarily.
Konkas looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Fritiof Konkas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Konkas is looking to clinch but Flash is avoiding it.
Konkas scores with a jab. Flash acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Flash scores with a takedown into Konkas's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Konkas can't keep his opponent in guard - Flash advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Flash is working for a submission of some sort.
Konkas is looking for a sweep. Flash is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Flash stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Flash is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Konkas's half guard.
Flash should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Flash in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Konkas tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Flash!
