PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thaddeus Reese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jermaine Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reese comes to the cage accompanied by BAMA Boyz-Sweet Home Alabama. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thaddeus Reese!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jermaine Williams!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reese doesn't manage to clinch there - Williams circles away.
Reese tries to clinch but Williams is having none of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Reese counters with a shoot takedown. Williams fights it but they end up in guard.
Reese wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Thaddeus Reese dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Williams with a lazy takedown attempt

and Reese counters by moving into the clinch.
