Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davi Alves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Krystofer K!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alves has managed to clinch.
K tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Alves smiles and moves away.
A jab lands there for Alves.
Alves blocks a head kick by K.

Alves closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A short body shot lands from Alves as the two fighters clinch.
Alves content to slow the pace in the clinch.

K's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
K tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alves paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Davi Alves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Alves fakes high and swings low for a body shot but K manages to avoid it.

K slips a straight right by Alves.

K moves in looking to clinch but Alves pushes him off.

K ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Alves shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Alves was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Alves throws a right and a left that K avoids nicely.

Alves escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. K gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
