Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks has chosen Dream Theater's Forsaken as his entrance music. Kevin Brooks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Long moves in looking to clinch but Brooks pushes him off.
Long shoots in looking for a takedown. Brooks tries to sprawl out of it but Long keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Brooks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Long tries for a takedown but Brooks sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Long is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brooks sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy Long. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Long shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brooks sprawls well. Brooks wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Long gets slowly back to his feet.
Long closes the distance and clinches up with Brooks, looking for a takedown. Long pushes Brooks against the ropes but Brooks circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brooks feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Brooks postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Long badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Brooks around the waist but Brooks pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Brooks is the winner by TKO! Brooks jumps onto the ropes and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
