Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo DeSonto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo DeSonto had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The key to victory for Ricardo DeSonto has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown just misses with a punch to the body.
DeSonto shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brown as he jumps to the side.
Nice sprawl there from Brown as DeSonto shoots in.
Brown looks to score with a jab to the body but DeSonto is just out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Brown. No joy for DeSonto on that attempt.

DeSonto tries to clinch but Brown is having none of it.
Victor Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. DeSonto is trying to defend but Brown finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
