Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between wolf thug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Bader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bader swinging wildly here.

Bader shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in thug's guard.
thug is controlling Bader's posture.
Bader slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
thug looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

thug looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bader is looking to work some ground and pound but thug has wrist control.
thug on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if thug tries to get out of the position.

thug working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bader doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bader manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bader lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

It looks like wolf thug has been cut.

Bader lands a couple of decent looking shots.

thug escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bader gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
thug has momentary wrist control but Bader slips an elbow through the middle.

thug working for a triangle but Bader defends it easily.
Bader postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
thug tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bader postures up in thug's guard and throws a big left but thug blocks it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
thug can't keep his opponent in guard - Bader advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Bader throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bader scoring with strikes to the body and head.

wolf thug's cut is getting worse.
thug has hold of Bader's hands but Bader slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Jeez, wolf thug's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Bader decides to return to a standing position.
thug misses with a takedown attempt

and Bader holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Bader gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bader decides to stand and escape the position.
Bader keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
thug is breathing heavily.
thug tries to clinch but fails miserably

so Bader counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bader scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at wolf thug's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
