Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Roo Poppin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Poppin throws a nice head kick!
Poppin is breathing heavily.
Chapman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Poppin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Chapman has hold of Poppin's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Poppin tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Chapman cranks the arm and Poppin screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Poppin, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Leo Chapman!
