Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons fails to land the takedown.
Simmons stalks Kamaniwannalaya and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kamaniwannalaya's face. Kamaniwannalaya staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like King Kamaniwannalaya has been cut.
Simmons shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Simmons shoots in looking for a takedown. Kamaniwannalaya tries to sprawl out of it but Simmons keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kamaniwannalaya manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kamaniwannalaya looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kamaniwannalaya!

and Kamaniwannalaya counters with a nice kick to the body.
