The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
wolf on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
wolf looks to land a body kick but Nakata moved away.
wolf moves out of range as Nakata strikes.
wolf pivots, looking for a leg kick but Nakata is out of range and wolf settles back down.
wolf misses with a low kick.
wolf tries to land a front kick but Nakata steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
wolf throws out a leg kick but Nakata moves out of range and wolf only half commits.
wolf looking to land some kicks to the body here.
wolf goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Nakata throws a jab when wolf was well out of range.
Nakata getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
wolf takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nakata takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
wolf throws a front kick aimed at Nakata's knee but Nakata avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Hoshi Nakata has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
wolf content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
