Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between iron man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Spiderman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Spiderman will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
man misses with a jab, cross combination.

man closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Spiderman did well to prevent man getting side control.

man is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Spiderman defends it well.

Spiderman actively working from the bottom here.

man will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

What can Spiderman do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

It looks like John Spiderman has been cut.

Spiderman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but man pulls his head out easily.
man is looking to take a break and control but Spiderman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

man lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Spiderman down.

man looks up at the clock and then as Spiderman takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, man smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

man's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
man wants to lay and pray for a moment but Spiderman keeps working.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
man tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Spiderman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

man decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
man seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Spiderman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.
