Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Canton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Neo Jackman!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Canton shoots in and bounces Jackman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Canton is looking to work some ground and pound but Jackman has wrist control.
Jackman trying to keep a closed guard but Canton is proving a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Canton is controlling him.

Jackman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Canton defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Canton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Canton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jackman tries to bum rush Canton with a series of wild strikes but Canton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Canton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jackman was covering up waiting for the punch and Canton finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Canton gets to his feet - Jackman follows without any prompting.

Jackman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Canton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Canton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jackman was covering up waiting for the punch and Canton finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Jackman looks to score with a jab to the body but Canton is just out of range.

Canton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Canton sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jackman's guard.

Canton decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Canton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
