Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, faisal ali!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ali closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shango circles away.

Shango drops ali with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but ali looks back up at him and smiles so Shango waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like faisal ali has been cut.
ali slips under a jab.
Shango throws a right hand that ali ducks under and follows up with a left that ali also avoids with ease.
Shango swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
faisal ali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
ali displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Shango throws out the jab.

Shango cracks ali with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! ali looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Shango finish him?

ali is rocked!

Shango lands an uppercut, right on the button! ali tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
