The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatz blocks a head kick by Peters.
Tatz works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Peters misses with a head kick.
Peters throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Tatz's head.
Peters tries a head kick but it misses.
Jordan Peters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tatz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tatz wants to clinch.
Tatz looks to land a body kick but Peters moved away.
Peters throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Peters throws a lazy right hand but Tatz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Peters throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Peters throws a right and a left that Tatz avoids nicely.
Tatz shoots in for a double leg but Peters sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tatz blocks a head kick by Peters.
Tatz lands a front kick.
Peters throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Peters takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tatz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Peters pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tatz moves in looking to clinch but Peters pushes him off.

Peters throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Tatz blocks a head kick by Peters.

and Tatz counters with a left to the body.
Tatz wants to clinch.
Tatz moves out of range of the leg kick from Peters.
Tatz throws the kick towards the body but Peters avoids it.
Tatz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tatz avoids the head kick by Peters.
Tatz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Peters sprawls well. Peters wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tatz gets slowly back to his feet.
Jordan Peters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hertz Tatz.
Tatz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Tatz closes the distance and clinches up with Peters, looking for a takedown. Tatz pushes Peters against the cage but Peters circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Tatz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Peters looks to score with a jab to the body but Tatz is just out of range.
Tatz fails with a takedown attempt.
Tatz tries to clinch but Peters moves out of range.
A head kick by Peters misses
and Tatz counters with a right hand to the body.
Tatz feints and then cracks Peters's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Peters down.
Peters chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Tatz looks gassed!
A slapping leg kick lands for Peters.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Peters throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Peters throws a quick inside leg kick.
Peters tries to bum rush Tatz with a series of wild strikes but Tatz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Peters throws a head kick that misses.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Peters.
Peters swings for the body but Tatz moves out of range.

Peters lands a big head kick that sends Tatz tumbling to the mat! Peters takes a step backwards and waves Tatz back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Peters throws a lazy head kick
and Tatz counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Tatz is still on wobbly legs! Can Peters finish him?
