The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samara throws a hook to the side of Lopez's head but Lopez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lopez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Samara manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
