Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Bollin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jose carlos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jose carlos is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bollin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
carlos is trying to stand back up but Bollin is controlling him
carlos is trying to maintain the position but Bollin is very close to passing his half guard.
Bollin wants to control but carlos is keeping him busy.
Bollin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because carlos is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Bollin is looking for a kimura but carlos is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bollin to get the leverage.
carlos is not content to let Bollin control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
carlos doesn't manage to clinch there - Bollin circles away.

carlos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bollin walks away with a smile on his face. carlos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bollin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bollin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

and Bollin counters with a nice double leg into side control. carlos won't be happy with that.

Bollin wants to control but carlos is keeping him busy.
carlos is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
carlos wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
