The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
GiantS has a takedown stuffed.
Blackz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but GiantS moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
No joy there for Blackz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Blackz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
GiantS misses with a takedown attempt - Blackz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

GiantS changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blackz tries to avoid it but GiantS manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blackz to the ground. Blackz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Blackz misses with a few strikes there.
GiantS tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blackz paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Blackz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Blackz swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and GiantS counters with a nice double leg into guard.

GiantS drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Blackz manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now GiantS has Blackz in his guard.
Blackz is looking to work some ground and pound but GiantS has wrist control.
GiantS trying to keep a closed guard but Blackz is proving a slippery customer.
Blackz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with GiantS. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
GiantS manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
GiantS tries to control but Blackz wriggling away.
GiantS won't let Blackz get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
GiantS unloads with some shots from mount but Blackz bucks and avoids them well.

Blackz's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

GiantS is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Blackz is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Blackz flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. GiantS anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Blackz and secures both hooks! This could be bad! GiantS slips an arm under Blackz chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. GiantS has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. GiantS is squeezing on Blackz like an anaconda would it's prey. Blackz fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
