Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between lucius chaupin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Saver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
chaupin pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
chaupin misses with an attempted mid kick.
chaupin moves out of range as Saver strikes.
chaupin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Saver.

Saver ducks down and throws a hook to the body but chaupin moves away.
chaupin is looking to chop away at Saver's legs.
Saver misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
chaupin looks to land a body kick but Saver moved away.
chaupin throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Saver shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

chaupin wants to hold on but Saver pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Saver prevents chaupin from getting the reversal.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Saver looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has chaupin covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
