Woods kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jackson 5 - ABC. Elmer Montgomery will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Montgomery tries to bum rush Woods with a series of wild strikes but Woods uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Woods changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Montgomery looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Montgomery stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Woods swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Woods takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Montgomery cracks Woods on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Woods falls backwards against the cage. Montgomery follows up with more strikes that drop Woods to his knees. Montgomery keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Woods! This one is all over!
