The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Evans misses.
Neumann fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Evans avoids it really well and circles away.
Neumann looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Evans is fending him off so far but Neumann persists. Nope, Evans circles away and we're back to standing.
Evans stuffs the takedown attempt from Neumann. Neumann gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Neumann. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Neumann shoots in but Evans avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Neumann shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Evans as he avoids it easily.
Evans lands with a good body shot.

Evans throws a hook but Neumann avoids it easily.
Neumann takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Evans lands with a hook. Neumann tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Evans looks to land a combination but Neumann avoids it well.

Neumann takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Evans connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A punch lands to the side of Neumann 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Neumann fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Neumann is breathing heavily.
Evans attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Evans's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Evans duly obliges.
Evans rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Neumann moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Neumann takes one on the button.
Decent striking displayed by Evans there.
Evans stuffs the takedown attempt from Neumann. Neumann gets slowly back to his feet.
Evans lands with a hook. Neumann tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Neumann is rocked!
Evans connects with a crisp jab.
Oh Neumann is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Evans lands a lovely overhand right.
BOOM! Evans lands a beautiful left hook that drops Neumann. Neumann tries to recover but Evans is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Neumann lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
