The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calatayud misses with a body shot.
Tripp shoots for a double leg takedown but Calatayud sprawls well. He's pushed Tripp's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Calatayud throws the left hand but Tripp avoids the punch easily.
Calatayud swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Calatayud ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

It looks like Jakob Van Tripp has been cut.
Tripp moves away from the strike by Calatayud.
Calatayud sends Tripp crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Calatayud is motioning to the referee to let Tripp up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Calatayud walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tripp checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Sebastian Calatayud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tripp is trying hard to land a takedown here. Calatayud sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Tripp tries to get into range but Calatayud steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Tripp! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Calatayud scores the big KO victory!
