Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Canton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chase might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to All the Above - Maino. On his way into the cage it seems that John Chase has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily John Chase seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Chase!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Canton!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase swats away the attempt to clinch by Canton.
Chase throws an overhand right that lands on Canton's shoulder, as Canton tries to avoid the shot.
Chase throws a nice looking combination but Canton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Chase leaves Canton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Canton looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A jab from Chase misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chase swings for the body but Canton moves out of range.
Chase lands with a good body shot.
Canton misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Canton dodges the punch combination from Chase.
Canton slips a jab from Chase.
A jab from Chase misses.
Chase missing with a left hand there. Canton was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Canton ducks under a wild hook from Chase.
Chase misses with a hook.
Canton shoots in and drives through. Chase sprawls well.
Chase connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Chase misses with a double jab.
Chase stuffs the takedown attempt from Canton. Canton gets slowly back to his feet.
John Chase has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Canton.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Chase, as that shot connected.
Chase closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Chase working away.
Chase tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Chase has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Chase is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Canton looks calm but he's in trouble here. Chase gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Canton is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Chase lets go of the hold and Canton can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). John Chase!
