Rua comes to the cage accompanied by Slayed. Sirovica has chosen last mohacian as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sirovica will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rua stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rua wants it to stay on the feet.
Rua throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nice takedown defense from Rua. No joy for Sirovica on that attempt.
Mauricio Rua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mehmet Sirovica.
Sirovica walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Rua stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rua wants it to stay on the feet.
Sirovica doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sirovica looks gassed!
Sirovica closes the distance and clinches up with Rua, looking for a takedown. Sirovica pushes Rua against the cage but Rua circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Donk. Rua catches Sirovica right on the button with a cross.

It looks like Mehmet Sirovica has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rua keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Rua looks to score with a jab to the body but Sirovica is just out of range.
Rua connects with a stiff jab that staggers Sirovica - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
