Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven DeNomee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeNomee has chosen XXL as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeNomee throws a right hand that Rogan ducks under and follows up with a left that Rogan also avoids with ease.
DeNomee tries to clinch but Rogan is having none of it.

Excellent takedown into side control there by DeNomee.
DeNomee tries to move to mount but Rogan blocks the move with his legs.

Rogan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but DeNomee pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

DeNomee shoots in looking for a takedown. Rogan tries to sprawl out of it but DeNomee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rogan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Rogan got a little sloppy there for a moment and DeNomee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rogan has managed to get both his arms back between DeNomee's legs - danger averted.
Rogan is pushing down on DeNomee's leg trying to pass to half guard. DeNomee is fighting to maintain full guard but Rogan has managed to sneak the leg through.

Rogan uses his free foot to push down on DeNomee's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for DeNomee.

Rogan has control of DeNomee's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and DeNomee regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Rogan cracks DeNomee with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

DeNomee pushes Rogan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rogan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
DeNomee is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Rogan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rogan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

DeNomee is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
DeNomee tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rogan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Rogan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Rogan tries for a kimura but DeNomee is defending well.
DeNomee is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Rogan asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Rogan has an Americana. DeNomee didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Rogan is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Rogan hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
