The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Duelly shows good takedown defense.

Duelly will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Duelly counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jackson's guard now.
Duelly looking to sit in guard and control but Jackson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Jackson wants to stand but Duelly is controlling his posture from full guard.
Duelly wants to get back to his feet but Jackson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

and Jackson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Duelly!

Jackson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Duelly tries to buck Jackson off but Jackson takes his back!
Jackson gets his hands free as Duelly looks to control.
Jackson is striking well from the back but Duelly escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.
Jackson is trying to control the action in half guard but Duelly is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
