The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Navarro closes the distance and clinches up with Gagnetti, looking for a takedown. Navarro pushes Gagnetti against the cage but Gagnetti circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gagnetti throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Navarro.
Gagnetti stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gagnetti wants it to stay on the feet.
Gagnetti is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Navarro.
Gagnetti thows a body shot but no joy.
Gagnetti throws a shot from downtown. Navarro moves away and avoids it.
A clash of legs there as Navarro blocks the low kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Gagnetti.
A jab from Gagnetti misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gagnetti lands with a nice body kick.
Gagnetti rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Navarro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Navarro avoids the body shot from Gagnetti.

Navarro moves away from the strike by Gagnetti.
Navarro closes the distance and clinches up with Gagnetti, looking for a takedown. Navarro pushes Gagnetti against the cage but Gagnetti circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gage Gagnetti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie Navarro.
Navarro dodges the punch combination from Gagnetti.
Gagnetti connects with a good right hand that stumbles Navarro. Navarro circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Gagnetti changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Gagnetti throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Navarro.
Navarro walks into a jab.
Gagnetti closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Navarro! Gagnetti dives in looking to finish! Navarro is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
