Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Natural Born Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Rutecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rutecki has chosen Remember the Name as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dexter Rutecki was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutecki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Killer paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Killer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Killer wants to free his trapped foot but Rutecki is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Rutecki tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Killer manages to move to mount!

Killer is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rutecki has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rutecki!

Killer throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rutecki uses it to pass to side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Killer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rutecki tries to avoid it but Killer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rutecki to the ground. Rutecki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Killer goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rutecki has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Killer but great work by Rutecki.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Killer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rutecki sprawls well initially but Killer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
