Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Randall Flagg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andy Rain!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rain slips a jab from Flagg.
Flagg getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Randall Flagg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice shot lands for Flagg.
Rain misses with a body kick.
Flagg throws a looping overhand right but Rain ducks down to avoid it.
Rain throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
A combination from Flagg does no damage.
Flagg just misses with a punch to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Flagg. No joy for Rain on that attempt.

Rain gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Rain successfully pulls guard.
Flagg stopping the sweep attempt from Rain.
Flagg pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rain is keeping the position for now.

Flagg drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rain looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rain looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rain!

Flagg tries to buck Rain off but Rain is having none of it.
Flagg wants to control but Rain postures up.

Rain working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Rain taking a break here but Flagg is having none of it and regains half guard.

Rain seems to be looking for submissions.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Flagg makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Flagg.
Rain is looking to stand up but Flagg won't let him.
Flagg tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Flagg is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Flagg is on top in guard.
Rain really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Flagg. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Flagg wants to control from the top but Rain keeps moving.
Rain wants to sweep but no luck.
Flaggis looking to pass into half guard but Rain pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Rain is in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Flagg looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Rain passes into side control.
Rain taking a breather here.
Flagg manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Flagg not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Rain is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Flagg trying to mount his opponent but Rain defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Flagg is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Rain!

Flagg jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Rain manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Rain tries to improve position but can't.
Flagg tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Flagg tries to score with some ground and pound. Rain controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Flagg throws a shot from downtown. Rain moves away and avoids it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Randall Flagg will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Flagg scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

and Rain counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Rain jumps into guard, dragging Flagg to the mat.
Flagg trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Flagg works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Flagg tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rain knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Rain keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Flagg is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Rain makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rain.
Flagg won't allow Rain to sweep him here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rain keeping moving, preventing Flagg from controlling successfully.

Flagg tries to free his leg and advance position but Rain is retaining full guard.
Flagg trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Flagg misses with a few strikes there.
Flagg thows a left - swing and a miss!
Flagg thows a body shot but no joy.

Rain gets a clinch.
Rain gets underhooks to prevent Flagg's takedown attempt.
Flagg is pressed up against the cage. Rain has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Flagg down to the mat. Flagg avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Rain showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Flagg.
Rain throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Flagg's waist but Flagg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rain off to one side.
Flagg smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.


Rain is rocked!
Randall Flagg is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Flagg misses with a two punch combination.
Rain is still on wobbly legs! Can Flagg finish him?
Rain on the wrong end of a nice jab.


It looks like Andy Rain has been cut.
Flagg lands an uppercut, right on the button! Rain tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Randall Flagg!
